Travel Clinic & Holiday Vaccinations

Travel Vaccine Appointments

Jenner Healthcare will only provide the following Travel vaccinations on the NHS :

Polio (given as a combined diphtheria/tetanus/polio jab)
Typhoid
Hepatitis A
Cholera
These vaccines are free because they protect against diseases thought to represent the greatest risk to public health if they were brought into the country. Should you require any additional vaccines other than those listed above, you will be required to source these by a private clinic.

Should you wish to be considered for travel vaccinations the below risk assessment form must be submitted to your registered branch 10 weeks prior to your travel date. Should you prefer a paper copy of the form, please visit your registered branch to collect. This is to ensure the Nursing team have time to review and assess your clinical needs. We do not keep travel vaccines in stock, these are ordered for the individual patient. We can not guarantee any forms that are submitted with less than 10 weeks notice will be processed.

Private Travel Clinics

If you require travel advice then you can attend any Private Travel Clinic (you can obtain these numbers in the Yellow Pages see link below i.e. type in “travel clinic” then “your area”, to display a list of clinics) charges will apply at these clinics.

General practitioners are not responsible for prescriptions of items required for conditions which may arise while travelling, for example travel sickness or diarrhoea. Patients are advised to purchase these items from community pharmacies prior to travel.
