Eye Surgery, Thorney Medical Practice and Jenner Health Centre have recently left Octagon Medical Practice and joined together to form the new Jenner Healthcare.
There are some outstanding IT processes that need to be completed in order to de-merge our clinical systems from the Octagon clinical system.
In order to allow these outstanding IT processes to be completed, all three Jenner Healthcare sites will have three half day closures on the following dates:-
- Wednesday 2nd February
- Tuesday 15th February
- Wednesday 23rd February
In addition, Jenner Healthcare @ Eye and Thorney will be closed on the afternoon of Friday 28th January and Jenner Healthcare @ Whittlesey will be closed on the afternoon of Monday 31st January.
The surgeries will be closed from 1pm on these days.
Staff will remain on site but will be working on clearing down existing work to allow the clinical systems to be turned off.
We will only be able to operate ’emergency’ systems on these afternoons.
Patients with urgent needs can still contact the surgery, but we will not have any clinical systems available.
We will be unable to process any routine prescription requests.
Therefore we respectfully ask if your request is not urgent that you call the following day.
NHS 111 will remain available online at 111.nhs.uk or by telephone by dialling 111.
You should dial 999 if you have a life threatening condition.
Both the Accident & Emergency Department and the Urgent Treatment Centre at Peterborough City Hospital will be open for urgent conditions.
In the event of a mental health crisis dial 111 and choose option 2 for the First Response Service.
